Structural Analysis:
Pittsburgh Design & Engineering Services mapped/measured the existing roof steel truss system to evaluate its structural integrity to support load applied due to potential Fall restraint system while electrical contractor replacing electrical switchgear. Load applied as recommended by OSHA for such application and stamped approved letter with calculation set provided for the contractor to submit for the record.

Corroded and Damaged Steel Floor Joists
Requested to evaluate Corroded and Damaged Steel Floor Joists. This damage was discovered upon removal of finished ceiling panels, it was due to excessive condensation, lack of proper insulation and leak from upper level drain.

This encompassed a detailed examination of brackets, framing, and their attachment to the main structure, as stipulated by the City of Pittsburgh permitting office
